I am a NASM Certified personal trainer with a deep passion for health and fitness. I believe that if you follow a healthy lifestyle, it can help influence all other areas of your life. By learning virtues and principles, such as discipline, determination, vision, passion, and control through health and fitness , you can use this knowledge, and apply it to any part of your life. I specialize in writing client specific workouts to ensure what you’re doing in the gym is exactly what will bring you to your goals. I work directly with and educate clients about the fundamentals of proper nutrition, and how to stay accountable and follow those fundamentals. The road to healthy lifestyle is definitely a journey. My
goal in life is to help as many people with their journey, by providing motivational, educational, instrumental, and emotional support.
I graduated from Weber State University in 2008 with a Bachelor’s degree in Health Promotions with an emphasis in Physical Fitness. After working at Lifelong Fitness for a year I decided to continue my education with studies from NSCA-CPT and also received my Master’s degree in Professional Communications from Weber State University. I grew up playing many sports and enjoyed living an active lifestyle. I began to more seriously grasp the benefits of training in my college years as I studied my coursework and played NCAA soccer for Weber State University. Following my college career my profession as an athlete continued for a season as a semi-professional athlete for the Women’s Premier Soccer League. I then decided it was time to hang up my shoes at the competitive level and decided to do what I could to help others experience the benefits of choosing a healthy lifestyle. My goal is to help others achieve the most they can by helping them establish healthy lifestyle habits. I love what I do and love seeing the progress that comes from establishing these habits!

“Fitness is not about being better than someone else. It’s about being better than you use to be.”

NSCA-CPT Certified Personal Trainer
Bachelor’s of Science: Human Performance Management (Weber State University)
For as long as I can remember, fitness has been a lifestyle for me. Even at an early age, I was always running or playing sports or just enjoying my life. As someone passionate about health and fitness, I love being in the gym and pushing my body to new limits. Because I believe health and fitness are crucial to living a better and happier life, I became a personal trainer. I want to teach people that being fit is so much more than just looking good or appearing “buff.” Specifically, I became a personal trainer because I want to help change and enrich people’s lives with greater happiness and self-worth through fitness training. I love working with people who have a desire to change, and I believe that with patience and persistence, anyone can achieve realistic goals, confidence, self-esteem, and the body and life they desire. I love helping people reach their goals and to witness both their inner and outer transformation.
I have a deep seeded passion for sports and fitness. I have been involved in sports and fitness my whole life as a player, coach, or instructor. My passion led to getting a B.S. degree from the University of Utah in Exercise Sport Science. I was lucky enough to personal train at Lifelong Fitness 8 years ago prior to going on active duty Air Force. While on active duty I was able to continue sharing my passion as a Unit Fitness Program Manager. I decided to continue my education and get my M.S. in Kinesiology and NSCA-CSCS. Once again I am lucky to be back at Lifelong Fitness sharing my passion and helping others achieve their sports and fitness goals. Nothing makes me happier than helping others achieve their goals and sharing in the joy with them.

ADF – MAIT Martial Arts Instructor/ Trainer
My love for fitness began early in my youth. As with many children I loved to swim, bike, roller-skate, ice skate, and various other outdoor sports. I also developed a love for tumbling and gymnastics and was a member of my high school team. From elementary through high school I enjoyed sprinting as well and held records for both the 50 and 100 yard. Through the course of my life I have grown to love many forms of fitness and truly enjoy challenging myself by trying new things. My greatest passion however is that of martial arts. I have been studying various forms since age 13 and it is through my practice and teaching of these disciplines that I have come to understand the importance of self-love and balance in life. My approach as a coach and personal trainer is to educate my clients, and provide the tools necessary, to help them live a better quality of life through proper nutrition, proper movement, and the development of a positive sense of self. My observation is that our greatest obstacles we face when setting out to achieve our goals are the limitations we place upon ourselves. Abraham Maslow once said, “What is necessary to change a person is to change his awareness of himself.” My hope is that, with proper guidance I can help you see the potential that is already present inside of you.
