99% of Fitness Is MENTAL!

I am always amused when I get onto amazon and search “fitness programs” or “nutrition programs”.

There are so many choices that it would make just about anybody’s head swim.

The amount of knowledge contained within all of those programs is staggering.

But what is more staggering is the reviews…

Why is it that out of 100 people only 20 of them tops have good things to say about the programs they purchased? And why is it that the remaining 80 are bagging on it and saying how it “failed them?”

Your Big Biceps Have Nothing On Your Brain…

If you were to take those same 20 people that succeeded with their programs, I am betting you that you would see some definite and dominant patterns going on.

The first place you would see patterns is in the way that they speak internally and externally.

“I exercise because it makes me feel amazing”, or “I eat well because I feel great eating real food”.

Vs. the 80% who failed….

“That program takes too long…I just don’t have the time”, or “I don’t have the willpower to keep going”

The pattern is obvious here.

The 20% have a strong mental disposition while the 80% lack.

No one group is superior to the other, BUT the group with the strong mindset is the one getting the results.

Let me be clear on this….

Each group has the EXACT SAME INFORMATION, yet only the ones with the “sexy brain” is getting the sexy body…PERIOD.

It All Starts With Awareness…

If you find yourself in the 80%, then I would invite you to simply become AWARE of your internal dialogue this week and make a concerted effort to figure out WHY you think like that.

Then…

Challenge it! You are NOT a victim of that kind of negative dialouge UNILESS YOU BELIEVE IT TO BE TRUE!

It is completely up to you if you want to continue to harbor those thoughts and feeling or if you are going to be proactive and change them.

I hope you choose the latter.
